​Concept

I saw an exhibit at the National GuGong Museum in Taipei; coincidently, that night, those warriors and horses came into my dream to interact with me. This painting depicts the scenes of my dream of the life-sized terra-cotta warriors and horses of Qin dynasty that have existed for over two thousand years. In my dream, I was in a dark illusionary space where they were buried, I believed that their spirits exists and were in desire to escape from the museum to escape into the prairie.
