In my country, Taiwan, it is common to see elderlies play Chinese chess in the park. Playing Chinese chess can be traced back thousand years ago as well as Chinese ink drawings. Thus, I used the Chinese ink as a material using modern drawing style to depict the scene of people playing chess nowadays compared to ancient paintings of people playing Chinese chess thousands of years ago.
