​Concept

This watercolor illustrates the development of our transportation system and new technologies that replaced them. As technology is being improved, human beings are gradually forgetting about old things like the steam engine train. It served as a significant part of our transportation system to our society allowing people to travel to other country but also delivering an abundant amount of cargo to different places. This painting serves to remind us of the importance of old things and its contribution to this world.
